The UCWC Diversity Book Group explores a variety of “differences” through both literature and film, thereby promoting social justice on a personal level.

LGBTQ Issues

The UCWC, A Welcoming Congregation, supports lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered persons. We sponsor the local PFLAG group which meets in our building.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

In honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., each year on MLK Day UCWC partners with St. Paul’s Baptist Church and other faith communities in the West Chester area in acts of public service.
