Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service
Making Wool Caps for Babies
Contact: Sandy Schaal Email: mlk
Each January, we join St. Paul’s Baptist Church to celebrate and honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Together we sponsor community outreach service projects throughout the greater West Chester area. St. Paul’s partners with UCWC, other local churches, civic organizations, and community agencies to make a positive difference in our community.
This year the Racial Justice Ministry is collecting wool socks and wool or thermal hats as part of our MLK Day of Service. These will go to people who are unhoused in our community. Please bring new hats and/or socks to Sunday service and leave them in the designated basket in the lobby.
