Privacy Policy — Unitarian Congregation of West Chester

What we collect. For volunteers who serve on our technical schedule, we keep a name, email address, mobile phone number, and a notification preference of Email, Text, or Both. These are recorded in a schedule shared only with the volunteer coordinator and the volunteers themselves.

How we use it. We use this information solely to remind volunteers of the dates they are scheduled to run camera or sound, and to ask for a volunteer when an upcoming date has nobody assigned. We do not use it for advertising or fundraising.

Text messages. Volunteers who choose Text or Both receive text messages about their own scheduled dates. Message frequency varies, typically no more than one message per week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You may also ask the volunteer coordinator to remove your number at any time.

Sharing. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with our messaging provider for the sole purpose of delivering these messages.

Retention. We keep a volunteer’s details only while they serve on the schedule, and remove them on request.
