In her book “Living With a Wild God,” the late Barabara Ehrenreich of blessed
memory, one of the world’s most devout athiests, exhorts that while we hold onto the
logical and rational, it would be a great mistake to ignore the stray bit of data that
doesn't fit into your preconceived theories, that may even confound everything you
thought you were sure of – and invites us to hold open for the wild possibility of
mystery, to dare to discover it in our common experience, to listen for the call coming
from within.
“Potluck Spirituality” - Rev. Dan Schatz
Our UU congregation is a place of diversity, abundance, generosity. Nothing embodies that spirit more than a potluck. This service will be followed by a (you guessed it) potluck!
"Reflections on 25 Years of Ministry"- Rev. Dan Schatz This Fall our Minister, Rev. Dan Schatz, celebrates the 25th anniversary of his ordination to the Unitarian Universalist ministry as well as the 10th anniversary of his installation at our congregation. For this Sunday, he will reflect on his experiences and learnings over a quarter century of ministry.
October 25: "The Magic Is YoUU" - Rev. Dan Schatz and Cassie Lengel
Our All Ages Halloween service will be a celebration of the magic found all around us, everyday. Come celebrate the season (costumes are welcome!) and the magic we create together. Please plan to stay after the service for a very important congregational town hall - all are invited and a pizza lunch will be served. During the town hall there will be a religious education Halloween Party for kids.
