Come one, come all, whether you’re new to Unitarian Universalism or you’ve been with us for years, join “Explorations.” This is a small-group style program that is a great way to make some connections and deepen your relationships with others as you engage some guided readings and discussion questions together. “Explorations” examines what it means to be a Unitarian Universalist, as we delve into our common faith and our individual experiences. UCWC Mens Group

The UCWC Men's Group meets every first Tuesday of a month at 7 pm: Usually we gather in the sanctuary to share, discuss and learn from each other about a particular topic like, for example, “Friends & Friendship”, “Things we regret”, or “How governments spent money”. In the days before the Civil War, a runaway slave named Liz Spocott breaks
free from her captors and escapes into the labyrinthine swamps of Maryland’s
eastern shore, setting loose a drama of violence and hope among slave catchers,
plantation owners, watermen, runaway slaves, and free blacks. Liz is near death,
wracked by disturbing visions of the future, and armed with “the Code,” a fiercely
guarded cryptic means of communication for slaves on the run. Liz’s flight and her
dreams of tomorrow will thrust all those near her toward a mysterious, redemptive
fate.

Join Kathy Beatty & Sue Davis as we dance to the lead of our wonderful Zumba teacher, Smitha Srishaila. Smitha offers a wonderful experience of music, laughter, joy, and movement. She shares a "trip around the world" with easy-to-follow dance moves. Try a dance or two, sit and sway, or just bring your smiles. Wear comfy clothes and nonskid shoes. No experience necessary.
