Join UCWC member, Laura Reimer as she shares her reflections on breath. In her life as a musician and veterinary nurse, and spiritually in her meditation practice, breathing has been an ever present and fascinating process. She will share her evolution in awareness of breath from speech, to singing, to playing a wind instrument. Laura invites us to reflect on it, the mechanics of it's function, the things we can create with it, and the wonderful way it simply is.
Please join us as Laura reflects on our relationship with the breath, an amazing and ever present element of life that we so often take for granted.

Rev. Sana Saeed
In a time when so much around us is unraveling—from trusted systems to long-held assumptions—we are called to something deeper than survival. We are called to become. This service invites us to reflect on the sacred work of becoming—not by returning to what was, but by gathering what still matters, honoring our grief, and leaning into what is being made possible even now..

August 31 - Singing Through the Hard Times - Songs and Stories of Utah Phillips - Rev. Dan Schatz
U. Utah Phillips was a Unitarian Universalist activist, songwriter, storyteller, humorist, and labor organizer. On this Labor Day weekend, we remember Utah, in what would have been his 90th year, with a very special service of Utah’s songs and stories from our Minister, Rev. Dan Schatz. Rev. Dan was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2010 for his role as a producer and performer on Singing through the Hard Times - a Tribute to Utah Phillips, has toured with Utah’s children and friends, and has helped to preserve and expand Utah’s legacy.
