In-person or Live-stream. After a three-year Covid hiatus, the annual summer folk singing service returns. Our theme this year asks you to raise your voices with us in praise of the Seven Principles. Well-known as well as not-so-well-known songs will be sung, so printed lyrics will be distributed. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.

Throughout American history work as been hard—as has been life—for many folks. Join us in this sing-along service as we look back on some of the many songs that recall this important aspect of our past.
Add you voices as we pay tribute to one of the giants of folk singing. No one believed in the social and political power of group song more than Pete Seeger. He will always be with us.
Sing along with us as we explore the seven Unitarian Universalist Principles. We’ll have a song representing each one plus a few more selections to enjoy. If you have a good time, consider joining the UCWC Folk Singing Interest Group’s next get-together. No talent necessary…just a desire to have fun.
2012 marks the one hundredth anniversary of Woody Guthrie’s birth. The UCWC Folk Singing Group, to whose monthly get-togethers, all are welcome, will celebrate the year with a sampling of songs written by Woody, sung by Woody, or influenced by Woody. Come sing with us this Sunday.
