Animals and Us: Connection, Compassion, Commitment

Join us for an intergenerational service in which we will celebrate our animal friends and co-inhabitants of our planet and explore what we as UUs can do to support and promote ethical animal treatment. We’ll learn about Unitarian Henry Bergh, who founded the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and learn what led the members of UCWC’s Animal Ministry group to their commitment to work on behalf of animals. During the second half of the service, younger children will go downstairs to make dog treats for the West Chester SPCA.

NOTE: The Ministerial Search Team plans to make a very important announcement during the service on the outcome of our search for a new minister. Being a year in the preparation, this is an announcement that you will not want to miss.
